The Sandman was a villain who worked with Catwoman. He appeared only in two episodes, The Sandman Cometh and The Catwoman Goeth/A Stitch In Time.
Background[]
Not much is known of Sandman's background except that he is a European Criminal well known to Catwoman and Batman. Catwoman hired him to assist her in attracting the attention of insomniac millionaire J. Pauline Spaghetti. Sandman was able to infiltrate J. Pauline Spaghetti's apartment and photograph her ledger book, but nothing more was mentioned of their plan past that.
He has two main henchmen,
Snooze - Richard Peel, & Nap - Tony Ballen.
Weapons[]
His stethoscope tip (which shoots knockout gas) - used to put Ms. Spaghetti to sleep.

Michael Rennie was most famous for starring in the movie "The Day The Earth Stood Still" where he played the alien Klattu.
